Foreign Currency Exchange
At the Credit Union, get your money in the currency you desire. We can convert your dollars to foreign currency or vice versa. Visit your local branch for this service. Because some currencies take longer to get than others, it is recommended that all purchases of foreign currency be initiated 2 to 3 weeks prior to any departure to a foreign country.
Note: Occasionally, ATMs in the airport of the country you are traveling to may offer more favorable conversion rates.
Money Orders
Sometimes a Money Order is the type of payment you need to conduct your personal business. Cash isn’t always safe to carry around and a personal check may not be accepted by a business—that's where a Money Order can make life a little easier.
LGFCU offers Money Orders at all branch locations for $1.00.
